Davis Square Park Judo Club

Class for participants with visual impairment and physical disabilities.

This program is run through a partnership between World Sport Chicago, the Chicago Park District and the Menomonee Judo Club. We are part of a visually impaired sport and social club. Other activities include goal ball, beep baseball, and track and field. This class has participants of all different ages and visual impairment. In the Paralympics the disability requirement for Judo is visual impairment. Members of this club participated at their first Judo tournament in May 2011 at the 10th Annual Wolf Junior and Paralympic Judo Tournament.
